These two scholars, Dr. Beck Niyazov and Dr. Valery Khan, have been peers for many years. The combination of their expertise provides a unique approach to current problems. Dr. Niyazov’s background is in political science and international business, while Dr. Khan is a philosopher and specialist in Russian, Central Asian and Korean studies. Both were born in Uzbekistan, into the same social environment, and both men earned Ph.D.s from Moscow State University. Central Asia is the focus of their recommendations, but they can also be adapted and applied in other areas of the world where these issues demand solutions. To bring all the fragments of the ethno-cultural puzzle together in the context of the contemporary world, is a challenge which must be addressed by our concerned thinkers.
